After 20 years on the corner of Tivoli move the iconic restaurant in the City Hall Square in large, modern rooms, which will be opened to the public today. At the same time the restaurant presents new collectibles from some of the world’s greatest stars, which include Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, and introduces a Danish Wall of Fame as a tribute to the Danish rock.
Copenhagen, March 27, 2015 – Since its opening in 1995, Hard Rock Café been at the corner of Vesterbrogade and Bernstoffsgade as a symbol of the worldwide restaurant chain tribute to pop and rock music. With 198 cafes, hotels and casinos all over the world, the Hard Rock has become a global icon of rock music. Over the years, large Danish bands such as Pretty Maids played in the restaurant, and huge names like both Anthrax and Slayer have often looked past the restaurant after the concert ended is jobs in Copenhagen, and later One Direction also.
Now select the Hard Rock Café Copenhagen his 20th birthday by moving to brand new premises at the Town Hall. The 900m2 large restaurant is on two floors with space for 250 diners, and two shielded private dining areas. The restaurant’s new style is a mix of classic Scandinavian-inspired design, raw brick and concrete surfaces, bold colors and wide natural oak surfaces, which together with the large windows in the facade facing City Hall Square downloading lots of light and life into the restaurant.

Tribute to Danish musicians among international stars
Hard Rock is known worldwide for its vast collection of unique collectibles, and also in Copenhagen Hard Rock able to present an impressive array of new collectibles and memorabilia on the walls of the new restaurant. Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Rihanna, Anthrax and Metallica are all represented in the new collection.

The café has already added one of Lars Ulrich’s drum kit to the wall, and a guitar from the Danish rock band Pretty Maids.
